Privacy policy
Last updated: 28 September 2026
We collect as little as we can and we do not sell it. This page says exactly what we hold, why, who else touches it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
1. Who we are
Raising Noble, Wollongong NSW, Australia. Contact info@raisingnoble.com.
We are the data controller for the information described here. We handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, and — where they apply to you — the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation.
2. What we collect
- Order information — your email address, what you bought, the amount, and the billing country your card was registered in.
- Download records — which kit was downloaded and when, with your IP address stored only as a one-way hash, never in the clear.
- Gift cards — the purchaser's email, an optional recipient email and message, and the card code stored only as a one-way hash.
- Contact messages — your name, email, topic and message.
- Newsletter — your email address, if you subscribe.
We never see your card number. Payment details go directly to Stripe and are never transmitted to or stored by us.
3. Why we hold it, and on what basis
| Purpose | Basis |
|---|---|
| Delivering what you bought and giving you access to it again | Performing our contract with you |
| Keeping tax and accounting records | Legal obligation |
| Answering your message | Performing our contract, or our legitimate interest in replying to you |
| Sending the newsletter | Your consent, which you may withdraw at any time |
| Limiting download abuse and spam | Our legitimate interest in protecting the service |
4. Who else handles it
- Stripe — takes payment and holds the payment record.
- Link, a Stripe company — the merchant of record for kit purchases. It collects your name, billing address and payment details to take payment and work out tax, and handles them under its own privacy policy.
- Resend — sends our email, so it processes the address we send to.
- Cloudflare — hosts the site, the database and the kit files, and provides cookieless analytics.
That is the whole list. We do not sell or rent your information, and there are no advertising trackers on this site.
5. Where it is stored
We are an Australian business selling worldwide, and our providers operate globally, so your information may be stored or processed outside the country you live in — including in Australia, the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom and Japan.
Where information leaves the UK or the European Economic Area, our providers rely on the safeguards permitted under the GDPR, such as the UK and EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We take reasonable steps to ensure anyone handling your information protects it to a comparable standard.
6. How long we keep it
- Orders — seven years, which is the Australian tax record-keeping period.
- Gift cards — until the card expires and any balance lapses.
- Sign-in links — fifteen minutes, then they stop working.
- Contact messages — as long as needed to deal with what you raised.
- Newsletter — until you unsubscribe.
7. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete what we are not legally required to keep;
- stop using it for a particular purpose, or restrict how we use it;
- send a copy to you or another provider in a portable form;
- withdraw consent you have given, such as for the newsletter.
Ask at info@raisingnoble.com. We will respond within thirty days and we will not charge you for it. We may need to confirm who you are first.
Some information we must keep even if you ask us to delete it — an order record is needed for tax purposes for seven years. If that applies, we will say so and explain why.
8. Cookies
One cookie, and only when you sign in to your download library, so the site remembers you are signed in. It is essential to the service and there is no tracking cookie on this site. Cloudflare's analytics are cookieless and do not identify you.
9. Children
Our kits are for families, but the customer is the adult. This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, tell us and we will delete it.
10. Email
Newsletter sign-up is double opt-in: you confirm by clicking a link, so nobody can add your address but you. Every newsletter carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately. Order confirmations and download links are not marketing and are sent regardless, because they are how you receive what you paid for.
11. Complaints
Tell us first at info@raisingnoble.com and we will try to put it right. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to a regulator:
- Australia — the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
- United Kingdom — the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
- European Union — your national data protection authority.
12. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we will tell the people affected.
